Potion, Uncommon (Minor)
This potion is popular among assassins and bandits. When consumed, the drinkers saliva becomes venomous. This gives the drinker a bite attack that deals 1d6 poison damage. Alternatively they can apply their saliva to a slashing/piercing weapon to add 1d4 poison damage to their weapon attacks.
This potion is believed to have been used in the assassinations of more kings than you could count on both hands. It’s origins are unknown but it was likely a gang of assassins that first brewed this potion. From there it spread among black markets and eventually became popular among adventures and monster hunters for obvious reasons. Now this potion is not as rare as it used to be, but it is often regulated by local law enforcement. If someone is caught with more than 2 bottles the local law enforcement might detain them under suspicion of being an assassin.
