Poison Fang (5e Equipment)
Weapon (Dagger or Shortsword), Rare (Requires Attunement) This platinumed silver snake design has the snake's month open hissing as the weapon is ensnared with the snake. The sharp point of the dagger is also slightly split like that of a snake's tongue. When first found this magical item is a dagger but can be switched to a shortsword as a bonus action. While making attacks with this magical weapon, you deal an additional 1d4 poison damage and the snake's tail wraps around the user's wrist making the weapon unremovable unwillingly by anyone but the user. Poison Fang: Restrict Arm As an action, you release this weapon from your hand and command it to restrict a target's arm in a 5 ft radius. The targeted creature must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or become unable to use two-handed melee weapons and have disadvantage on Strength saving throws for 30 seconds. This does not affect creatures that have no arms or creatures that cannot be restrained. Poison Fang: Restrict Leg As an action, you release this weapon from your hand and command it to restrict a target's leg in a 5 ft radius. The targeted creature must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or become their movement speed is halved and they have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws for 30 seconds. This does not affect creatures that have no legs or creatures that cannot be restrained. |
