Poe Reprise (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
Necromancy cantrip | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | 30 feet |
Components: | V, S |
Duration: | 1 round |
You hurl two spheres of violet-colored poe flame. Each poe flame you create flies to a 5 foot square within range. Any creature in a poe flame's space when you cast the spell must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d4 necrotic damage. A creature must also make this saving throw when it enters the poe flames's space for the first time on a turn. After a summoned flame is triggered, it is destroyed. Otherwise, a summoned flame lasts until the end of your next turn.
If, on a subsequent turn, you target a space occupied by one of your previously-created poe flames with a new poe flame, the two flames combine together and detonate; any creature within 5 feet of the explosion must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d4 necrotic damage.
This spell creates additional poe flames when you reach higher levels: three flames at 5th level, four flames at 11th level, and five flames at 17th level.
