Weapon (greatsword), rare (requires attunement)

This weapon deals an extra 1d8 necrotic damage.

While holding Pobedo Life Taker you gain the following benefits:

  • When you reduce a creature's hitpoints to 0, you can roll a 1d100 and apply the following effects:

1-10: you gain hitpoints equal to the damage you inflicted on your last attack.

11-20: You can cast Animate Dead on the creature you just killed.

21-30: This weapons attack increases by 1d8 until the next long rest.

31-40: You gain resistance to one type of damage of your choice.

41-50: If an enemy creature you hit is a undead or humanoid, you gain advantage on the attack roll until the end of your next turn.

51-60: You can now cast Sanctuary on yourself or an ally within 30 ft of you.

61-90: You can call upon Giant Wolf Spiders in swarms equal to your proficiency bonus, they take their turn right after yours and obeys all verbal commands to the best of their ablity.

91-100: You are now resistant to all types of damage for 1 minute, however half the damage you deal also gets inflicted to either you or an ally within 5 ft of you.

  • If a hostile creature is a undead, humanoid or a dragon your attack deal an extra 1d8 slashing


Sentience. Pobedo is a sentient chaotic good with an Intelligence of 16 (+3), Wisdom of 12 (+1), Charisma of 20 (+5), and has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. The weapon understands Common and one other language, and it can communicate telepathically with it's attune wielder.
Personality. The blade is possessed by the soul of its first wielder, an Queen of the Long Extinct Tribes of Spiderfolk, her anger towards the elves and any other creature that threatened her once called home continues to grow as such the weapons power grew along with it, over the years the sword has changed its form many of times to fit the current year, but her personality remains to be the same. She urges to protect the weak and all the druids and dryads and if that means risking the wielder of the sword so be it. Her angriness, her protection, her unrivalled strength is only for her tribes defence, ensuring even one spiderfolk is protected.
