Plant Strider[edit]
"I Ambush" -my best pun the plant strider walks in both the earth and the shadows a plant based rouge plant striders are often solitary choosing to spend there time among mushrooms and trees The foliage speaks loudly to you allowing you to channel themselves into your spells into your very being
Creating a Plant Strider[edit]
- Quick Build
You can make a Plant strider quickly by following these suggestions. First, Dex should be your highest ability score, followed by Wis. Second, choose the Hermit background. Third, choose Leather armor
Class Features
As a Plant strider you gain the following class features.
- Hit Points
Hit Dice: 1d8 per Plant strider level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 1d8 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8 (or 5) + Constitution modifier per Plant strider level after 1st
- Proficiencies
Armor: light armor ,shields
Weapons: simple weapons, rapier
Tools: Herbalism kit
Saving Throws: intelligence, Dexterity, Wisdom
Skills: choose four from Stealth, Insight, Perception, Animal handling, Medicine, Nature, and Arcana.
- Equipment
You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:
- (a) Quarterstaff and Short bow with 20 Arrows or (b) Rapier
- (a) Sling with 20 ammo or (b) Dagger or (c) Sickle
- (a) Herbalism kit or (b) Explorers pack or (c) Diplomats pack
- (a) Leather Armor or (b) Shield

Sneak attack[edit]
Beginning at 1st level, you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe's distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d4 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a weapon of which you are proficient .
You don't need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn't incapacitated, and you don't have disadvantage on the attack roll.
The amount of the extra damage increases as you gain levels in this class, as shown in the above sneak attack chart
Cunning action[edit]
Starting at 2nd level, your quick thinking and agility allow you to move and act quickly. You can take a bonus action on each of your turns in combat. This action can be used only to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action
Ability Score Improvement[edit]
When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
Communion[edit]
Once per long rest you can communicate with the natural world (animals do not count) This process lasts an hour during this time period you become one with the plants in your area in range of 60 ft you can choose a plant to see or act through requires an action to to switch plants you are reverted back into your own body at will ,at the end of the hour , if the plant you were inhabiting is destroyed you return to the state you were in before communion with that plant, or if your body is removed from the 60ft radius

consumes an action choosing to see through the plant allows you a different perspective you can not see full figures through this “sight “simply what the plant in question would see with tremor sense Huge plants 100 ft radius ,large plants 60ft radius ,medium 30ft ,small 10ft,tiny 5ft
- Act
consumes action choosing to act through a plant allows for minute amounts of damage as well as knock back acting through the plant means that the spells cast are from the plants limbs for the plants limbs (ie shillelagh does not affect your weapon its affects the plant that you are acting through) Actions taken through the plant are as follows
- Thorn whip +thwamp
you cast thorn whip through the plant add thwamp damage
- Shillelagh + thwamp
you cast Shillelagh through the plant add thwamp damage
- Thwamp(unarmed + sneak attack)
April showers[edit]
Plants grow quicker with you around expending one of your pho points allows you to do so intentionally growing one plant of your choice tiny becomes small ,small becomes medium ,and so on you can not grow plants beyond huge
Uncanny Dodge[edit]
Starting at 5th level, when an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack's damage against you
Bonsai buddy[edit]
following the rules of the find familiar spell you spend 2 pho to nurse a beloved plant to the point of it becoming a familiar you can commune with your familiar needs maintained daily (ie 2 pho per day
Evasion[edit]
Beginning at 7th level, you can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a red dragon's fiery breath or an Ice Storm spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Reliable Talent[edit]
you have refined your chosen skills until they approach perfection. Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your proficiency bonus, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
Cut down to size[edit]
The flora are in tune with you as much as you are them when one of your enemies leaves melee range of a plant within 160 ft of you assuming you have 1 pho the plant Will take an opportunity attack against that enemy this does not consume the pho this attack uses Thwamp damage
if you do not have the 1 pho the opportunity attack does not take place
like a log[edit]
replaces like a board gain one of the following once per long rest +2 communion + 3 pho +10 temporary hit points this ends at the end of your next rest (short or long )
fortilize[edit]
ritual one hour dense vegetation fitting the environment fills a 180 ft radius centered one you the vegetation brought on by this ability are permanent they are not constructs replenish on short rest
Heart of the forest[edit]
ritual 24 hours you allow yourself to grow over your form and anything you are wearing/carrying is absorbed into your new being a plant of large size holds as your vessel you can move between vessels at will the plant you are wanting to inhabit must be living you can drop this form at any time in which case your body will return to the state that it was before becoming the heart of the forest and replace the plant that you were inhabiting to become a plant again the ritual will need recast
