The Blast pistol is the upgrade to the pistol, boasting higher damage and the ability to splash other targets.
Special Phosphex (2). When an enemy is hit by phosphex they must make a Dex save (8+your bonus to attack rolls) on failure take 2d6 fire damage at the start of their turn and give advantage on all attacks against them
Blast. When an enemy is hit by an attack from this weapon creatures in 10ft sphere around the target take the attacks damage.
