Persistent Shapeshifter

Prerequisites: Wild Shape Druid class feature, Constitution and Wisdom both 13 or higher
Through great physical training and a lot of meditation, you are able to push your limits and change forms with ease. You gain the following benefits:

  • You can use your Wild Shape feature an amount of times equal to 6 • your Druid level instead of twice. This benefit comes with the following tradeoffs:
  • When you use your Wild Shape feature, you can only stay in beast shape for 10 minutes instead of the usual number of hours.
  • Once you revert to your normal form for any reason, you can't use your Wild Shape feature until after the end of your turn (unless you have the Archdruid feature).
  • If you automatically revert to your normal form as a result of dropping to 0 hit points or dying twice without taking a short or long rest in between reversions, you immediately lose all unexpended uses of your Wild Shape feature (unless you have the Archdruid feature).
  • At the end of your turn, if you are incapacitated while in beast shape, you can revert to your normal form (no action required), provided that you were incapacitated for the entire duration of your turn.
  • Being unconscious no longer causes you to automatically revert to your normal form. Being unconscious does not prevent you from expending uses of your Wild Shape feature to remain in a beast form you're already in or prevent you from reverting to your normal form at the end of your turn as a result of being incapacitated. You must still make the decisions of how many uses to expend or when to revert to normal without any awareness or knowledge of your surroundings from after you went unconscious, and you aren't made aware of if or when you reverted if something caused you to revert early.
