This massive reptilian creature is not a dinosaur, dragon or crocodilian the strange mixture of all three possibly the original ancestor of all of them. The penumbra kavu is an ancient breed known to be older than any dinosaur breed and older than most of the existing dragon breeds. Kavus are covered in thick green scales with massive teeth and three hooved toes. The kavu averages 14 feet in height and around 6.8 tons in weight making it a danger to even the largest herbivores they commonly feed on sauropod dinosaurs like the brontosaurus and diplodocus. A unique trait of the kavu is its extreme hatred of elves and a kavu will go miles out of its way to attack an elven settlement or even to attack a singular elf. On the flip side of this, it seems to enjoy the company of orcs and goblins often protecting them and their allies when they are in danger.
