The Orb of Praesidium is an ancient artifact created by the elves during their war against the dwarves in order to erect a protective barrier anywhere. It was stolen by the dwarves and enchanted with extra abilities and entrusted by the care of the wizard Agermoth. When Agermoth ascended to litchood he stole it and added evil abilities to it.


Command Word

Speak the orb’s command phrase to create a 100m in diameter hexagonal force field. The field is of the same color as the orb and extends both above and below ground. The orb’s color changes depending on the alignment of the user.


Good - Green

Neutral - Orange

Evil - Maroon


Orb Benefits

The orb’s benefits change with the alignment of the user.


Type I

Good - Friendly creatures within the orb’s protection regain 34(3d12) health when they start their turn in the field’s area of effect.

Neutral - All friendly creatures gain advantage on defense saving throws and enemy creatures take disadvantage on offensive saving throws.

Evil - Enemy creatures within the sphere’s radius must take a DC 15 saving throw or take 10(2d6) psychic damage on a success or be forcefully ejected out of the sphere taking 18(2d12) fall damage.


Type II

Lawful - Every 10m, the sphere creates 3d6 guard[1]. The guards are friendly to you and your party and are under the sphere’s owner’s command.

Chaotic - Every 10m, the sphere creates 3d6 kobold[2]. The kobold are friendly to you and your party and are under the sphere’s owner’s command.
