You create an orb of chaos that floats over the head of a creature within range for the duration of the spell. Whenever that creature takes damage, the orb causes it to take additional force damage equal to 1d8 plus your spellcasting modifier.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 per level above the 3rd.
