Potion, rare This thick, viscous black oil can coat one weapon or up to five pieces of ammunition. Applying the oil takes 1 minute. For 1 hour, the coated item is highly flammable—the slightest spark causes it to erupt with fire. These flames shed bright light in a 30‑foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. While aflame, the weapon is magical and deals an additional 2d6 fire damage. The flames can be smothered or quenched like any normal flame; as long as the item remains coated, it can be set alight repeatedly. |
