512px-Searchtool.png The main contributor(s) of this page determined that this page should be reviewed. Reason: The "Shift" feature might be a little excessive, or might not be needed. It's a feature I want it to have, but if it's too much it can be nerfed or removed.

Wondrous item, legendary (major) (requires attunement)

Normally taking the appearance of a brown fur cloak, this cloak changes its shape, size, material, and coloration according to the whims of any creature that is attuned to and wearing it. It cannot change shape to be anything other than a cloak, and it can be made of multiple different materials, including precious metals and gems. When you transform into a different creature, the cloak must be worn by your new form, and it changes shape to always fit your new form regardless of whether your new form is capable of wearing a cloak. When its attunement to a creature ends, the cloak reverts back to its normal form.

You have a +1 bonus to your AC and saving throws while wearing this cloak, and you cannot have disadvantage on saving throws against nonmagical effects. You cannot be vulnerable to damage of any type, nor can damage bypass any of your damage resistances or immunities. You also retain your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores whenever you transform, as well as your alignment and personality. In addition, if you are capable of casting spells, you can cast them while transformed if they only have the somatic component.

Form. Whenever you transform, you can retain your Constitution score and give the new form resistance to nonmagical damage. The cloak cannot be used in this way again until dawn the next day.

Grace. Whenever you transform, you can retain your Dexterity score and increase the new form's speed by 10 feet. The cloak cannot be used in this way again until dawn the next day.

Power. Whenever you transform, you can retain your Strength score and give the new form advantage on all Strength checks and Strength saving throws. The cloak cannot be used in this way again until dawn the next day.

Shift. If you were to be reduced to 0 hit points while transformed, you can use your reaction to instead take on a different form, regaining a number of hit points for your new form when you do so and redirecting any excess damage to this new form. The hit points regained cannot exceed the new form's maximum hit points, and the new form must be that of a creature the effect that caused you to transform would allow. If no such form exists that is different from your current form, you cannot use this feature. The hit points regained in this way are expended from a pool of 50 hit points, and the they cannot exceed the amount that remains in this pool. You cannot use this feature again until you revert to your normal form. The cloak regains all expended hit points at dawn each day.
