Moonlight Arrow (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Weapon (arrow), uncommon (minor)

This magical arrow has a bullet-shaped head of finely engraved silver. When fired, the arrow turns into a shimmering beam of pale light that pierces through solid objects. A target on the other side of cover gains no benefit from said cover when targeted by an attack with a moonlight arrow, unless the cover consists of a highly reflective surface.

The moonlight arrow deals radiant damage, instead of the piercing damage typical for an arrow, and deals an extra die of damage. It also counts as a silvered piece of ammunition.

A shapechanger struck with the moonlight arrow instantly reverts back to its original form.

Moonlight arrows will not penetrate highly reflective surfaces such as silver mirrors, instead bouncing off of them with no loss in momentum.
