Weapon (net), uncommon (minor)

A Mithral Net is woven from thin, flexible mithral cable instead of common rope, giving it substantial strength as well as the ability to conduct electricity. A Large or smaller creature hit by a mithral net is restrained until it is freed. A mithral net has no effect on creatures that are formless, or creatures that are Huge or larger. A creature can use its action to make a DC 18 Strength check, freeing itself or another creature within its reach on a success. Dealing 30 slashing damage to the net (AC 16) also frees the creature without harming it, ending the effect and destroying the net.

Additionally, creatures restrained within a mithral net are adversely affected by attacks which cause or incorporate lightning damage, taking double the lightning damage normally sustained by the attack. Creatures with immunity to lightning damage remain unaffected by this feature.

When you use an action, bonus action, or reaction to attack with a mithral net, you can make only one attack regardless of the number of attacks you can normally make.
