This special amulet has been bestowed apon many great warriors throughout the ages, used to instill respect and fear into those who dare to oppose the weilder. It is an ornate ornament shaped like a giant locust, with strange arcane writing across its surface. It holds within it a monstrous swarm of locusts, the traditional envoys of Mikhail's destructive judgement.
Random Properties. The Mikhail's Judgement has the following random properties:
- 1 major beneficial property
- 2 major detrimental properties
Voracious Swarm. As an action, you can use the amulet to cast the insect plague spell (save DC 13) using the command "Summon Hunger". This swarm will always be centered on the amulet, and any creature in physical contact with the amulet remains unaffected by this spell. You must wait one week before the amulet can cast this spell again.
Suneater Swarm. After one minute of uninterrupted concentration, you can use the amulet to summon a cloud of locusts that cover the sun over a 10-mile radius using the command "Summon Despair". This will cast an enchanted shadow that heavily obscures the affected area. Any creature in physical contact with the amulet remains unaffected by this spell, and will instead be shrouded in a beacon of light visible by anyone within the swarm's shadow. You must wait one month before the amulet can cast this spell again.
Destroying the Mikhail's Judgement. Mikhail's Judgement can be destroyed much like any mundane amulet, but doing so will cause it to release all of its stored locusts in a violent storm back to The Void.
