Weapon (maul), legendary (requires attunement by a creature with Strength 17 or higher)

The Megaton Hammer is a maul of extraordinary size, shape and weight. This maul is so heavy, in fact, few can lift it off the ground and fewer still can wield it in battle. The haft of this weapon is made of a sturdy wood, reinforced by adamantium, and attached to the end of this haft is a hammer head of unusual build. One side of the head is a spiked head whilst the other side is a one-foot diameter cylinder of pure metal with rivets and inscribed runes circling the side of the head. Between these two heads lies a single, fat, rounded spike that caps the end of the haft.

The Megaton Hammer has a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls and knocks back Large or smaller creatures 1d4 spaces (5-20 feet) on hit. The wielder can call upon the power held within the Megaton Hammer and strike the ground in front of them causing a fiery tremor within a 40-ft cone in front of them. Creatures caught in this cone must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw to take half of the 3d6 bludgeoning damage and 3d6 fire damage, and to avoid being knocked prone if they are a Large or smaller creature. This ability, rightfully called Earth-Shattering Strike, can not be used again until after you finish a long rest.
