Marksman Specialization (5e Halo Setting)
Specialization Features
As a marksman specialist, you gain the following class features.
Hit Points
Hit Dice: 1d4 per marksman level
Hit Points: 4 + your Constitution modifier per marksman level.
Proficiencies
Armor: Light
Weapons: Simple Melee Weapons, Pistols, Rifles, Precision Rifle
Saving Throws: Dexterity, Wisdom
Skills: Any 5 skills of your choice
Equipment
- UNSC: (a) Camouflage Fatigues, SRS99D-S2 AM with 12 rounds of ammunition, M6C PDW with 12 rounds of ammunition, or (b) Camouflage Fatigues, M395 DMR with 45 rounds of ammunition, M6C PDW with 12 rounds of ammunition.
- Covenant: (a) Minor Harness, Sulok-pattern Beam Rifle, Eos'Mak-pattern Plasma Pistol, or (b) Minor Harness, Vostu-pattern Carbine with 36 rounds of ammunition, Rohakadu-pattern Plasma Pistol.

Spotter[edit]
At 1st level, while you are benefiting from a weapon's scoped property, you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with the weapon.
Assassin[edit]
At 2nd level, while you are benefiting from a weapon's scoped property, the critical threshold of your attacks with the weapon increases by 1 (20 → 19-20 → 18-20, etc.).
Sharpshooter[edit]
At 3rd level, your trained eye makes you a formidable marksman. Your Wisdom score increases by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. Additionally, while you are benefiting from a weapon's scoped property, you can use Wisdom instead of Dexterity for the attack and damage rolls of the weapons.
Ability Score Improvement[edit]
When you reach 4th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
Deadeye[edit]
At 4th level, your Wisdom score increases by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. Additionally, while you are benefiting from a weapon's scoped property, you benefit from Spotter and Assassin an additional time on attacks against creatures within the weapon's normal range, and you can make attacks within a range equal to the weapon's normal range + its long range with disadvantage.
