Large monstrosity, unaligned Armor Class 15 (natural armor)
Skills Acrobatics +5 Ultra Boingy. At the start of squig's turn its movement speed increases by 3d6 feet (rounded to the nearest 5 feet) for the turn. If a triple is rolled, squig takes damage equal to its Squig 'n' Chain ability as it collides with the environment or itself painfully. Improbable Force. Any creature who takes damage from the squig must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. Squig 'n' Chain. The squig can move freely through creatures' spaces and whenever it moves within 5 feet of a creature, that creature takes 18 (4d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage. On The Move. The squig must move its full movement speed every turn if able and opportunity attacks made against it have disadvantage. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage.

A mangler squig consists of two cave squigs connected to one another by a length of chain, resulting in the already chaotic and unpredictable movement of the cave squigs being increased to destructive levels. |
