Malpractitioner

Prerequisites: Proficiency in Medicine, any non-good alignment
You're willing and able to use your knowledge of medicine to cause harm to creatures. You gain the following benefits:

  • You gain proficiency in the poisoner's kit. If you have a healer's kit, you can expend 1 use from the healer's kit as an action to give the poisoned condition to an unwitting creature within 5 feet of you for 24 hours.
  • You can use your Wisdom modifier in place of Dexterity when you make an attack against a humanoid or beast with a finesse weapon.
  • When you hit a humanoid or beast with a weapon attack and deal damage to it, the minimum amount of damage you can roll on a damage die is equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded down), or your full proficiency bonus if you have expertise in Medicine.

Variant: Bleeding: If your DM is comfortable using the bleeding condition, instead of granting the poisoned condition for 24 hours, you can choose to give the creature the bleeding condition (staunch DC 8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus) for 1 minute. At the start of each of its turns, the bleeding creature takes necrotic damage equal to your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus.
