Magic Keg (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, legendary On the outside, this keg looks rather unpleasant. The wood looks slightly moldy, and it is leaking in a few areas. However, when you put any object inside it, it will burst to life, bubbling and foaming as the materials within are broken down into a liquid. This liquid is consumable, but often quite useless. The only things that the keg cannot turn into wine are objects that are too large, legendary artifacts, and things that are alive. Everything else is fair game. Weapons, lava, bones, corpses, poisons, and even spells can be turned into wine if you so please. Brewery. You place any object or number of objects, (just so long as they do not weigh more than 20 kilograms) into the keg, and close the lid. After 1d6 days, the object has completely broken down into wine, and it may be dispensed. You will be able to dispense 1 charge of liquid (one for every 5 kilograms put in the keg rounded down) from it, and based on what was put inside, will sometimes provide effects. For example, a wine made from a weapon may add an additional 1d4 piercing or slashing damage to their melee attacks. A wine made from onions may just taste bad. Most of the time the effects are completely useless, or nonexistant. |
