The M4A3E8 (76) (W) "Sherman" tank is an armored vehicle that was used by the Allies during World War II and into the Korean War. It is the culmination of years of modifications to the M4 chassis, and has many features that denote its finality. The M4A3E8 carries a powerful 76mm M1 main gun, capable of piercing the front plate of nearly any enemy tank it came across (save for a few German heavy panzers).

Cost:
Weight: 67 tons
Speed: 60 ft.

Size: Huge
AC: 24
Hit Points: 300 (damage threshold 0)
Crew and Passengers: 1 driver; 1 commander; 1 main gunner; 1 loader; 1 radio operator.
Resistances: Piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning

Immunities: Poison, psychic, necrotic, radiant

Damage Reduction 25

Siege Weapon: The tank deals double damage to objects and structures. The crew has proficiency with its weapons if they are proficient with siege weapons, firearms, or martial ranged weapons. Anyone proficient in this manner gains an additional +5 bonus to hit with the tank’s weapons.

Mobile Fortress: The tank provides total cover to anyone inside it from outside attacks, but imposes disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to observe things outside of the tank. Entering and leaving the tank functions as dismounting (use half of move speed) and requires the use of an unlocked hatch. A hatch may be used for entry or egress once per round. Locking or unlocking one of its five hatches takes a bonus action. Hatches can only be locked and unlocked from within the tank. Anyone trying to force a locked hatch must succeed a DC 26 Strength check.

Vulnerability to Fire: The tank takes double damage from fire attacks that deal an initial damage of 40 or greater.

Overwhelming Firepower: The tank’s weapon attacks are considered magical in terms of overcoming damage resistances and immunities.

Vehicular Nature: The tank requires crew to operate, from a minimum of one man to a maximum of five. Only Medium or smaller creatures can fit inside the tank. The crew within the tank may use their action to use one of its abilities on each of their turns. Each ability may be used only once until the turn cycle completes, with the exception of Drive, which may be used twice per cycle.

————————————————

Tank Abilities:

Drive: The tank moves up to its speed. When the tank stops moving, the front faces the direction that it last moved. It costs 5 feet of movement to rotate 45 degrees while in place. If the tank moves its full move speed on this turn, any attacks made by the tank on this turn have disadvantage.

Reload: The 76mm M1A2 is reloaded and may be used again as an ability.

76mm M1A2: The tank makes a ranged weapon attack with its main gun. It cannot use this ability again until someone uses the Reload ability to load the weapon.

High Explosive Shell (Main Gun): Range 600, one space or target
 - Everyone within 10 feet of the impact must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 5d6 piercing damage, 5d6 bludgeoning damage, and 2d6 fire damage and be knocked prone, taking half damage and not being knocked prone on a success.

Armor Piercing Shell (Main Gun):
Range 600/1800, one target (users hit bonus), 20d10+20 piercing damage and the target must make a DC 30 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. The shell deals an extra 4d6 piercing and 2d6 fire damage to Large or larger targets as the filler charge is triggered.

Smoke Shell (Main Gun): Range 600, one space or target
 - A 20 foot radius sphere of smoke appears, centered on the point of impact. The sphere spreads around corners, and the area is heavily obscured. The smoke stays for 1d4+2 rounds in no wind or half as long in a moderate wind or higher.

12.7mm M2: The tank makes one ranged weapon attack against up to three different targets with its M2 Browning. The user must have their hatch open to use this ability, and in doing so lose their total cover until they close their hatch. Range 300/900, up to three targets (users hit bonus), 3d10+10 piercing damage

7.62mm Coaxial: The tank makes one ranged weapon attack against up to three different targets with its coaxial M1919 Browning. Range 250/750, up to three targets

7.62mm Bow MG: The tank makes one ranged weapon attack against up to three different targets in front of the tank with its frontal M1919 Browning. Range 250/750, up to three targets in a forward cone
