Weapon (greataxe), very rare (requires attunement) This dwarven greataxe seems simplistic in design, but each side of the axe head is festooned with a pair of round onyx gemstones. The stones are deep black, save for a white band surrounding a white circle at the center of each. You gain a +2 bonus to AC against ranged weapon attacks while wielding this greataxe. You can use your reaction to draw any projectiles travelling within 5 feet of you to the head of the greataxe. For each redirected projectile, you must make a Strength saving throw against a DC equal 1/2 the damage dealt from the attack. On a success, the projectile bounces harmlessly off the axe head. On a failed save, you take no damage, but you are disarmed and the greataxe lands at your feet. This effect lasts until the start of your next turn, or until you are disarmed. |
