Lunar Mirror (5e Equipment)
Wondrous item, artifact (requires attunement by a circle of the moon druid)
Long before the first kingdoms rose and fell, before the first forge-fire cracked stone and sundered earth, there was only the Weald Eternal — an endless wild where beasts spoke and the trees remembered.
In that age, a single being walked between root and sky: a druid whose name is lost to time, known only as the Primal Heart. Neither beast nor mortal, they forged the Mirror from threads of stellar silver, whispers of ancient rivers, and the last breath of a dying star. It was said the Mirror held the raw soul of the world itself.
The Primal Heart wielded the Mirror for countless lifetimes, shaping mountains with a word and singing new beasts into existence. But even they could not hold it forever. When they faded into myth, the Mirror fell dormant, waiting only for one whose spirit burned as wildly and fiercely as the first life that ever bloomed.
It is said that any who dare wield the Mirror's power must surrender to the wild completely, or be consumed by it — for the Mirror remembers the age before metal, before cities, before walls, and it does not forgive the touch of steel.
Random Properties. The Lunar Mirror has the following random properties:
When attuned to this item, you gain the following benefits:
One with the Wild. You gain infinite uses of wildshape and can wildshape into any creature you have ever seen (This effect ignores CR).
Primal Endurance. While attuned to the Mirror, you gain Regeneration 10. You regain 10 hit points at the start of each of your turns as long as you have at least 1 hit point remaining and are not in an environment utterly hostile to nature (e.g., inside a zone of pure void or anti-life).
Whispers of the Wild. You can communicate telepathically with any beast within 120 feet. Beasts automatically view you as a friendly creature unless you harm them.
Nature's Claim. Every 7 days, you must succeed on a DC 15 constitution saving throw or one non-magical metal item that you are carrying or wearing returns to dust, as if targeted by the disintegrate spell. Such an object can only be restored by a wish spell.
