Lipdiop was the leader of the first allies Dipsodia had. He had always respected Dipsodia in life, and although socially taboo at the time had feelings for her. Though tragic the war allowed him to be close to the object of his affection and prove through his natural combat skill that he was a worthy mate. Though they never mated in life his sorrow at Dipsodia's funeral touched Dipsodia in the afterlife, and Lipdiop was one of the first souls saved. In godhood Lipdiop and Dipsodia are lovers and share a temple in the Great Dung Mounds.
Dogma[edit]
If the opponent has failed to take you, do not allow him a second chance. Defend the tunnels at any cost. Be more vicious then your opponent in times of war, and more tranquil then unturned earth in times of peace.
Clergy and Temples[edit]
The temples of Lipdiop are all very similar to Dipsodia's, surrounded by granite and displaying pictographs of the Drow war, as well as many other Diopsid on Diopsid conflicts. In the grand temple to Lipdiop on the Prime material plane, near Dipsodia's former empire capitol, if you spend four hours a day for six weeks studying you learn a permanent +1 bonus to Knowledge: history checks about the Diopsid and a +1 to Survival check in Diopsid tunnels. The clergy of Lipdiop are violent in times of war and are often segregated from the main front. In some cases they are instructed to carve their own tunnels because they disturb the regular military who arnt used to that level of carnage. In peace however they are quite scholarly, learned masters of combat styles, tactics, siege warfare, even on occasion they have knowledge of aquatic combat or some other form of alien tactic learned from surface books.
Appearance[edit]
Lipdiop is a eight foot Diopsid with a teal shell which fades to orange to closer to the bottom, until at the bottom tips of his shell and wings it appears to have an orange flame. His wings leave an orange trail in the air behind him. He holds a single Maul that he quad-wields, when challenged he has crushed a Diopsid into a fine powder with the Maul, which appears to be non-magical although is asked Lipdiop insists its not a maul its 'Maul', his weapons proper name.
