Lightning in a Bottle (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Potion, uncommon (minor) This glass bottle contains a miniature thunderstorm, with lightning coursing through swirling black clouds. It deals damage in different ways depending on if you throw it, aim or, or drink it. Throw. As an Attack action, you can throw the bottle as a simple weapon with the finesse and thrown (20/60) properties. On a hit, the bottle explodes in a brilliant burst of lightning that deals 6d6 damage. Each creature within 5 feet of the target must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity save or take half this damage. A creature has disadvantage on this save if it is soaked or wearing metal. Aim. As a Use action, you can uncork the bottle and point its opening in any direction, which empties it. A moment later, a thunderous point of lightning streaks out in a line 60 feet long and 5 feet wide. Any creature in this line must make a DC 15 Dexterity save, taking 4d6 lightning damage on a failure or half as much on a success. A creature has disadvantage on this save if it is soaked or wearing metal. Drink. As a Use action, you can chug the storm inside the bottle, which tastes refreshingly fizzy. For the next minute your body crackles with visible bolts of lightning that harm others but not you. Within this duration, any creature that starts its turn within 5 feet of you or comes within 5 feet of you on its turn takes 2d6 lightning damage. A creature takes an extra 1d6 damage if it is soaked or wearing metal |
