Leech Spear (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (spear), rare (major tier) When you attune to this spear, hollow tubes pierce your forearm, linking to your veins. This spear has a hollow point, which drains the blood of creatures wounded by it, transferring it to its wielder through those same tubes. As a bonus action, you can cause the spear to reduce size and attach flatten against your forearm, like a giant leech attached to it. The spear has 10 charges, and regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. When you hit a creature that has blood with it, you can spend 1 charge and regain hit points equal to the damage dealt (up to your maximum). On a roll of 20 on an attack roll, you can use this feature against a viable target without spending charges. Curse. When you attune to the spear, the spear is attached to your arm via tubes that pierce your veins, causing 1 piercing damage per charge currently on the spear. If you start a long rest with unspent charges on the spear, you take 2d8 necrotic damage per remaining charge, as the spear leeches your own blood. |
