Lawbreaker (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (maul), legendary (requires attunement by a non-lawful creature) This adamantine maul has two heads, one of which is spiked. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and hits against objects are treated as critical hits. When you make an attack with this weapon, you can choose to deal piercing damage instead of bludgeoning or slashing. While you hold this weapon, you can use a bonus action to shift its form into a greatsword. It remains in this form until you use a bonus action to transform it back into a maul. Lawful aberrations, celestials, constructs, elementals, fey, and fiends take an additional 2d6 damage of the weapon's type when hit. Charges. Lawbreaker has 20 charges, and regains 1d10 + 5 charges daily at dusk. While you wield it, you can cast the following spells from it (save DC 19): confusion (no concentration, 4 charges), crown of madness (no concentration, 2 charges), destructive wave (5 charges), disintegrate (6 charges), freedom of movement (4 charges), scatter (6 charges), spellbreaking smite (3 charges), staggering smite (4 charges), and wrathful smite (1 charge). Spells cast from Lawbreaker ignore a creature's immunity to psychic damage and the charmed and frightened conditions as long as they have been struck by an attack with it within the last hour. |
