Weapon (battleaxe), rare The blade of this axe is made from the lava of an active volcano, held in its molten form by magic. The lava axe sheds dim light to 20 feet. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack using this magic item, you can splash a blob of lava onto the target. At the start of each of the affected creature's turns, it takes 1d6 fire damage for each blob of lava it is afflicted with. If you roll a 1, 2 or 3 for a blob of lava's damage roll, that blob of lava disappears. If a creature afflicted with blobs of lava is doused or submerged in water, all the blobs of lava on it disappear. |
