Krynn Moon Orb (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by spellcaster) The world of Krynn is orbited by three moons that each influence its magic. The black moon, Nuitari, influences consumptive and destructive magics, the white moon, Solinari, influences healing and protective magics, and the red moon, Lunitari, influences the balance of the two. This stone orb captures a portion of each moon’s power to unlock more magical might. Magical historians theorize the orbs were created using Ioun Stones. Each Krynn Moon Orb is a perfect sphere 1-inch in diameter. When you use an action to toss an orb into the air, the orb orbits your head at a distance of 1d3 feet and confers a benefit to you. Thereafter, another creature must use an action to grasp or net the orb to separate it from you, either by making a successful attack roll against AC 27 or a successful DC 27 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. You can use an action to seize and stow the orb without an attack or ability check, ending its effect. An orb has AC 27, 9 hit points, and resistance to all damage. It is considered to be an object that is being worn while it orbits your head. Each orb confers to you a damage resistance and a property. It also increases one of your ability scores by 2, to maximum of 30, while you are attuned to it. While an orb is orbiting your head, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your spells and you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs.
