Physical Description[edit]

A Krookodile Source

Krookodile are crocodilian creatures that have a thick maroon-colored body, black back, and white stomach. They have five triangular spikes on their back: four around the middle of their back and one large one at the beginning of the tail. Each of the smaller spikes on the back are linked to black, triangular spikes that reach around to its front, slightly overlapping their white stomach. The largest spike sits at the beginning of their long thick tail, which has three, thick, black stripes. The last stripe covers the tip of the tail. Their legs are very short and directly attached to their feet. The feet are wrapped in black and have three white claws facing forward. Krookodile arms are short and thin with a black stripe around the elbow. Their long, thin fingers are each tipped with a white claw.

Though extremely rare, some Krookodile have been known to have light brown skin instead of red skin and yellow stripes instead of black.

History[edit]

Known as the "bully of the sands," Krookodile are known to be vicious creatures that roam the sandy areas of the Unova region. When the first Unovans settled near these areas, they often reported attacks by Krookodiles who would organize groups of Sandiles and Krokoroks to drive them away. Within Unovan history, the obsession with dragons led to a temporary moniker for Krookodile, calling them "sand dragons." They are known to move seamlessly through sand, almost as if it were water. Like water-based crocodiles and alligators, their dark eyes will poke out just above the surface of the sand to spot prey.

Society[edit]

It is said that Krookodile are an extremely violent pokemon. They will clamp their jaws on and attack anything that moves when they are hunting. An exception is the pokemon Flygon, with which Krookodile has a good relationship with. This is because Flygon sometimes creates sandstorms that allows Krookodile to hide in. Krookodile otherwise tend to only fraternize with their own evolution line. However, they can be quite the bully even to Sandiles and Krokoroks, treating them like lower subordinates in their gang.

Krookodile Names[edit]

Krookodiles like names that exemplify their fearsomeness. Some of these can be simple, like "Jaws," or more embellished, like "Sand Ripper." They sound like edgy titles more often than not.
