Kokorowatari (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (katana), artifact (requires attunement)
A simple, light katana with an extremely long blade. It looks identical to its twin, Yumewatari. These two blades were wielded by Seishirou Shishirui, the first oddity slayer, before he was turned into a vampire and succumbed to sunlight. The katanas have since been lost to time.
Magic Weapon. An attuned creature has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
Demon Sword. This katana weighs 3 lbs. and has the finesse, light, and reach properties. It can not be removed from you against your will. An attuned creature gains 1 major beneficial property.
Heart Span. While a creature carries both Kokorowatari and Yumewatari, it can attune to both weapons as if they were only one weapon. While a creature is attuned to both Kokorowatari and Yumewatari, their bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon increases to +3 and they gain advantage on attack rolls made with this weapon against abberations, celestials, constructs, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, giants, monstrosities, oozes, and undead.
Oddity Slayer. This weapon deals 2d10 slashing damage against abberations, celestials, constructs, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, giants, monstrosities, oozes, and undead. Kokorowatari deals no damage to creatures that are not any of the previously listed types, and its blade travels through them as if they did not exist. This weapons scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. Abberations, celestials, constructs, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, giants, monstrosities, oozes, and undead killed by Kokorowatari can not be revived except by Yumewatari.
Destroying Kokorowatari. This weapon can only be destroyed by divine intervention while it is not attuned to a creature. It must be destroyed simultaneously with Yumewatari while both weapons are within 5 feet of each other.
