Knightfall (5e Equipment)
Weapon (Battle Staff), artifact (requires attunement from a druid) This weapon has nothing to do with the TV show "Knightfall". This Knightfall is a bone battle staff that was first found by a Rift Walker in the Feywild. The Rift Walker noticed that the staff was giving off some kind of ominous pressure. He brought it to a druid who infused it with a Holy Symbol to suppress any evil powers within it, then named the staff Knightfall because he believed the bones belonged to an ancient warrior. The Rift Walker, already having a powerful weapon, let the druid keep the staff. The druid studied Knightfall's properties and then he used it to protect his village from evil. Before the druid died he locked the staff away and its full power can only be brought forth when a Druid wields it. Traits. Knightfall is a powerful magic staff that grants +2 to normal attack rolls and +3 for druid spell rolls. It does an extra 2d8 radiant damage to any enemy from the Shadowfell, or that draws its power from there Staff of Holy Might. This staff was infused with a powerful Holy Symbol, and is more powerful than most radiant weapons. When you are attuned to this weapon, you can bend radiance to your will. If an enemy is attacking with radiance, then the damage has no effect and instead is sucked into Knightfall. The enemy still rolls for damage. When you attack with radiance and have absorbed some radiance, you can release it back into the attacker. You can release damage back into the attacker based on the damage done to the staff. If 100 radiant damage is done to the staff, then the staff releases it into all enemies nearby. Imperial Vision. Magical darkness doesn't impede your darkvision. If you don't have Darkvision, you gain Darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
