Kiba (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (2 shortswords), legendary (requires attunement) Kiba is a set of two twin shortswords that are imbued with lighting chakra. Thanks to the lighting chakra, the blades are extra sharp, causing them to do an extra 1d6 piercing and 2d8 lightning damage on a hit. The Kiba Swords are part of a group of swords called "the Seven Swords of the Mist." Kiba is known to give a boost to any lightning-based attack. When you hit a creature with a spell/jutsu and it deals lightning damage or hit with Kiba itself, you can expend any number of the 10 charges to gain an extra 1d8 lightning damage to the attack per charge spent. A wielder of Kiba can expend 5 charges to cast Chidori Katana as a bonus action on their turn, this lasts for one minute or until dispelled at any point by the user. Kiba adds a +3 bonus to attack rolls made with it, you apply this bonus to your spell/jutsu's attack rolls. Attacks with Kiba count as magical for the purpose of overcoming reistance. Kiba has ten charges that can be expended, a wielder of Kiba gains all spent charges back at the end of a long rest. Special When attuned to Kiba, the player has the option of having Kiba be used at long distances. The player may grasp both hands together and gain the ability to let Kiba fly 30 ft around them, granting the swords a 30-foot range. (This ability lasts for however long the user keeps their hands together and keeps concentration as if concentrating on a spell, if your concentration is broken Kiba flies back to the creature its attuned to returning harmlessly to their hands) You are still able to cast lightning rod justu while using this.
