Wondrous item, legendary (major) (requires attunement) This pair of metal plated gloves is made for monks to defend themselves in hand-to-hand combat. You are considered to be unarmed when wearing these gloves. You have a +3 bonus to your attack and damage rolls with your unarmed strikes while you wear these knuckles. They have no effect on you if already have a magical bonus to your attacks and damage rolls with unarmed strikes. These knuckles have 10 charges and regain 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the knuckles become nonmagical. Powerful Fists. Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier on a hit. If you aren't holding any weapons or a shield when you make the attack roll, the unarmed strike's damage die becomes a d8. Rending Strikes. Your unarmed strikes are considered magical, for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunity to non-magical damage. Quick Strikes. When you take the Attack action and make an unarmed strike, you can expend 1 charge to make an unarmed strike using your bonus action. If you can already make an unarmed strike using your bonus action, this property allows you to make two attacks as a bonus action when you spend a charge.
