Judgement's Sting (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous Item, artifact (Yes) This beautiful silver blade which is sharp as a razor is none other then the broken blade of the greater god of zeal and justice Regonos (5e Deity). The blade is perfect in all regards to craftsmanship including the break from it's hilt which is a perfect straight line. Sword of Law and Good Despite its sharpness any creature with the intentions of using the blade for the common good can lift it without injury and cannot harm themselves or others with similar intentions with the blade. When someone lifts the blade the knowledge of what the blade is and what the blade was made for rushes through their mind. The blade has the sole intent of destroying evil and protecting the weak. They will then be compelled to meditate with the blade on their person for the duration of one long rest to become attuned to the blade. You can only become attuned to the blade under the following circumstances: 1. You are not of Evil or Chaotic alignment 2. You are not an undead, fiend, monstrosity or aberration. 3. You intend to use the blade for the general wellbeing of others and not for your own gain. Perfect Relic Any cleric of Regonos may use this sword as their holy symbol even if they are not attuned to it. Still a Blade Even though broken Judgment's Sting can still be wielded as a sword. In these instances the sword counts as a +1 shortsword and half of all damage is does (rounded down) is radiant damage. Once attuned to the blade the character gains the following passive abilities as long as they are still attuned to the blade and the blade still serves them: Old God's Protection= The sword shields you from the power of evil. You are considered under the constant effect of the spell Protection from Evil and Good. Judge the Wicked= You gain 4 Judgment Charges which can be expended to use some of the blade awesome power. You need not equip the blade for these effects it simply must be on your person when you use them. The blade can only regain spent charges by being held up in the sunlight of the next dawn. Sin Burns= As a bonus action, you can expend 1 charge to cast Searing Smite on yourself. You may spend as many charges as you wish on this ability with each charge counting as a spell slot of that level. Sword Guide Me= As a bonus action, you can expend 1 charge to cast Divine Favor on yourself. Guide Thy Allies= As an action, you can expend 2 charges to cast Crusader's Mantle Swift Justice= As an action, you can expend 3 charges to cast Haste on yourself Tempered with Mercy= As an action you can expend 4 charges to cast Aura of Life and Aura of Purity.
