Jar of Lava (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, rare A glass jar with lava inside. The jar is warm to touch, and enchanted so the lava is always hot until used. Can help keep someone warm in the cold, or be thrown at an enemy, breaking on impact. The lava sticks to the enemy, dealing 1d8 fire damage the first round, 1d6 damage the second round, and 1d4 damage the third round. Then it no longer deals damage. Also, if it lands on something flammable (Such as clothing) it ignites it, dealing an additional 1d6 fire damage each round for three rounds. The damage stops after three rounds, or if doused with water. |
