Ironic Pacifist (5e Equipment)

Weapon (any sword), legendary

A series of peculiar swords that comes in many shapes, including dagger, greatsword, longsword, scimitar, and shortsword. Legends tell the story of the supernatural entities - devils in some variations, faeries in another, and sometimes even deities themselves - who made a bet on creating the greatest irony in the multiverse, and the Ironic Pacifists were among the winning lots.

When a creature makes an attack roll with the Ironic Pacifist against constructs or inanimate objects, the attack deals an extra 4d6 damage, and the attack's damage ignores the target's resistance.

Any attacks made with the Ironic Pacifist against creatures other than constructs automatically deals no damage, as the blade magically swings through the creature's body without any harm.

When a creature is hit with an attack made with the Ironic Pacifist while wearing nonmagical armor, the armor takes a culminative -2 penalty to its Armor Class. If this reduces the armor's Armor Class to 10 or below, the armor is destroyed.

When a creature is hit with an attack made with the Ironic Pacifist while wielding a nonmagical shield, the shield is destroyed.
