Immovable Object (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
wondrous item, artifact (requires attunement)
Since the dawn of time, there have been two objects. One is known as the unstoppable force, and one known as the immovable object. They have been woven into religious stories, with many prophets believing their meeting will end the universe. This artifact is not, in fact, the immovable object, but a totem holding a miniscule shard of its power. The real immovable object is floating, completely stagnant, at the edge of the entire multiverse. There is a large team of magic users who have dedicated their existence to protecting it from colliding with the unstoppable force, and one of the ways they have done this is by draining as much power from it as possible and containing it in these idols. Technically, it is movable, but it takes immeasurable magical effort in order to do so.
Immobility. By expending an action, you may activate the power of the immovable object. Your speed is reduced by 25, to a minimum of 0, and all actions act as if they require two actions. But you have advantage on all saving throws and checks. The object also grants immunity to being knocked prone and being grappled when this power is activated. As a bonus action, you may dispel the power.
Heave. The immovable object thrums with the power of immobility, and every time you move your max speed, or travel to another plane, roll a d10. On a 1, the object refuses, staying fixed in a point in space. On a DC 15 successful Strength check, you can wrench it from its position, allowing it to be carried again.
Destroying the Immovable Object. This object will be destroyed if it is brought into contact with the immovable object, in which case a magical explosion will occur. This deals 5d10 radiant damage to anyone in a 10 foot radius.
