Ice Launcher

Ice Launcher 30 CR 1d4 bludgeoning 1,5 lb (680 g). Ammunition, Range(80/320), Two-handed, Reload(1-10 shots), Special.

A weird mercurian weapon used by the smartest of them all. It is a wood tube closed in one of the sides with a compartment to put gas and another one to deposit ice balls, by hitting the closed back of the tube, the gas ignites and fires the ice balls. Proficiency with a Ice launcher allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Properties

Ammunition

You can use a weapon that has the ammunition properly to make a ranged attack only if you have ammunition to fire from the weapon. Each time you attack with the weapon, you expend of ammunition. Drawing the ammunition from a quiver, case, or other container is part of the attack (you need a free hand to load a one-handed weapon). At the end of the battle, you can recover half your expended ammunition by taking a minute to search the battlefield. If you use a weapon that has the ammunition property to make a melee attack, you treat the weapon as an improvised weapon (see "Improvised Weapons" later in the section). A sling must be loaded to deal any damage when used in this way.

Range

A weapon that can be used to make a ranged attack has a range shown in parentheses after the ammunition or thrown property. The range lists two numbers. The first is the weapon’s normal range in feet, and the second indicates the weapon’s maximum range. When attacking a target beyond normal range, you have disadvantage on the attack roll. You can’t attack a target beyond the weapon’s long range.

Two-Handed

This weapon requires two hands when you attack with it.

Special Weapon

Weapons with special rules are described here. Ice Launcher You can load up to 10 ice balls into your Ice Launcher, when you make a ranged attack with your Ice Launcher it fires all the ice balls it had in it, making an individual ranged attack for each ice ball. The Ice Launcher utilized methane gas to fire the ice balls, every time you fire with the Ice Launcher you need to recharge it with a bottle worth of methane gas. It takes no actions to reload any amount of ice balls, but it is needed to use a bonus action to recharge the methane gas.
