Weapon (steel fan), rare (requires attunement) This battle fan has drawings of winds and clouds embellishing it, and it has the power to summon currents of air when wielded, even making it float on its own. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. The wielder of this fan is considered proficient with it for as long as they are attuned. When you make a ranged weapon attack by throwing this weapon, the fan imbues itself with currents of air, which makes it float in the air in a space 5 feet next to the point where it landed the attack, hit or miss, and it stays there. As a bonus action, you can call the fan back to your hands, making another ranged weapon attack one creature in its path, if any. While holding this fan, you can use a bonus action to cast the gust cantrip, or an action to cast the gust of wind spell (save DC 15) once from the battle fan. The fan regains the use of this effect at dawn. |
