Potion, Common

Commonly peddled by sleazy salesmen and often sold alongside snake oil, homeopathic potions are in fact more than just a bottle of water mixed with shredded cabbage. A creature that consumes this potion must succeed a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or gain 2d4+2 illusory hit points. Illusory hit points are identical to temporary hit points, except that when a creature with illusory hit points takes damage, the illusory hit points are only lost after all remaining hit points. A creature with illusory hit points cannot gain temporary hit points until the illusory hit points are lost. Illusory hit points are lost after a short or long rest.
