Holy Symbol, Talisman (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

A talisman is a consecrated wad of bundled cloth, canvas, hair, or other common material used as a holy symbol. It is common as a makeshift for a more sophisticated holy symbol among the impoverished and the destitute. Some faiths, however, fully embrace the humble talisman as the primary implement for channeling divine magic, and create artistically beautiful talismans that are works of art in their own right.
