Wondrous item, rare Adorned with holy symbols from a variety of good deities, this lantern functions as a hooded lantern (phb p152). The light it gives off is infused with holy magic. This lamp uses a special blend of oil and holy water, and must be lit with a flame spell from a divine caster. Any undead that begin their turn in the dim light take 1d8 radiant damage. Any undead that begin their turn in the bright light take an additional 1d8 radiant damage and make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. If they fail, the lantern turns and destroys undead as the 5th level Turn Undead cleric feature. |
