Re:Correct Title Format[edit]
Although the topic of what specific title format for variant pages has already been discussed some time ago on the main page, no edits were made to this page after a consensus was reached and as such the topic has fallen to the wayside for some time. I would like to repurpose the idea that variant pages should have some sort of consistent naming scheme with the idea that the agreed upon naming convention could become policy instead of just consensus as written rules tend to be better than unwritten ones. I believe that the following page names that were previous agreed upon should become the standard naming convention for variant pages:
- Human, Variant (5e Race)
- Human, 2nd Variant (5e Race)
- ect.
Finally, I would like to hear everyone else's thoughts on the matter on whether they believe something about this proposed policy needs to be amended.--Blobby383b (talk) 09:37, 28 August 2019 (MDT)
- I've edited this in. If someone thinks they have a way to word it better, please share (or just edit it if you're an admin). — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 13:56, 31 August 2019 (MDT)
- I don't know if "Human" is the best example, since the first page should already have the variant tag, but it's understandable compared to a non-standard race. --Green Dragon (talk) 08:23, 3 September 2019 (MDT)
- I believe that you probably don't have to list the ways that a page could incorrectly named, and just have the correct title format as that should be good enough.--Blobby383b (talk) 08:59, 3 September 2019 (MDT)
