Hayai Ugoken (Jujutsu Kaisen Supplement)
Ugoken Hayai[edit]
Medium humanoid (human), chaotic good Armor Class 20 (Unarmored Defense)
Saving Throws Dex +10, Cha +10 Cursed Energy. Jujutsu has 43 cursed energy he can use to fuel his abilities. All of his cursed energy is replenished at the end of a long rest. Remember to calculate immense and overflowing if you're adding them
Cursed Armor. Hayai can spend up to 5 cursed energy to give himself temporary hit points equal to the cursed energy spent times 5 for 1 minute if the character is level 11 or above then this is 10. Jujutsu can only benefit from this feature again after 1 minute or having his temporary hit points reduced to 0 (No action required). Cursed Strikes. Hayai can spend up to 5 cursed energy when making an Unarmed Strike in order to add 1d8 necrotic damage to his attack per Cursed Energy spent. He can also use this in response to rolling a natural 20 on an attack roll with an unarmed strike instead of beforehand. On a miss, the energy used remains until he hits a target or until 1 minute passes. Possession Sorcery Hayai's Cursed Technique can assign a label of possession to anything in the world, under a certain level of circumstances. When an object is of his possession, Hayai can call upon said object at any time, even teleporting the item to his current position for 1 Cursed Energy. In order to have something be Hayai's ‘possession’, he must abide by certain rules: Any item Hayai acquires via monetary exchange is immediately considered his possession. Any item given to Hayai with explicit consent is immediately considered his possession. Any item taken without previous ownership (Like something from nature), will have a thirty-minute period of consecutive obtention time, where Hayai must remain with the object either in, or very near his person, and if no one challenges his claim, said item will be your possession. Any item with previous ownership that is stolen by Hayai must remain with his person for one consecutive hour without challenges, and if such is accomplished, he is now considered the owner of that item. Hayai can possess areas, but these require a physical manifest, like a deed. Once they are in his possession, Hayai can teleport to that area once a week for 6 Cursed Energy. He can teleport a number of people equal to this Charisma modifier. Hayai can possess talismans, which is the only way he can possess any living thing, given that certain talismans can summon Shikigami. If Hayai possesses a object with a means of motion, such as a car, or a Grade 1 or above Cursed Tool, he may move it with his mind within a radius of 300ft of himself for an additional 2 Cursed Energy. If Hayai possesses cameras, he may see and hear through them at any time for 1 Cursed Energy. This ability does not have a range limit. Hayai possessions do not exempt anyone from using them. However, it is not a very good strategy. Example: If someone disarms Hayai from a possessed weapon, and begins to use it instead, he can instantly disarm them with only his will. However, physically taking an item from Hayai, and knocking him out by any means before he can take it back will automatically force him to lose ownership of the object in question. Hayai can, at any point in time, lose possession of something if the item goes through the same process of obtention again, which means that it remains in someone else's possession, without his consent, for a consecutive hour, it won't be his any longer. Hayai does not know exactly where a given item is, nor is Hayai notified when he loses property over his possessions. All weapons Hayai possesses gain a +1 to attack and damage rolls, and deal an additional 1d8 necrotic damage. ACTIONSMultiattack. Hayai can make two attacks. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 bludgeoning damage + 5d8 necrotic damage. Melee Cursed Tool name. Melee Weapon Attack: +X(prof+dex/str+weapon hit bonus) to hit, range 5ft., one target. Hit: X (Weapon damage die and bonuses +dex/str) damage type damage and X (curse empowered strikes + weapon necrotic damage +cha) necrotic damage. Ranged Cursed Tool name. Ranged Weapon Attack: +X(prof+dex/str+weapon hit bonus) to hit, range X/Y ft., one target. Hit: X (Weapon damage die and bonuses +dex/str) damage type damage and X (curse empowered strikes + weapon necrotic damage +cha) necrotic damage.
Forced Transaction (4 Cursed Energy) Hayai may instantly “buy” an item from its owner regardless of their consent for 4 Cursed Energy, but he must follow certain conditions: He will be promptly subtracted of items in your possession to pay for said item. While the technique will always prioritize monetary tokens to pay for the item, if they are insufficient, the technique will indiscriminately take from anything else you have to cover the expense at the GM's discretion. Furthermore, both the item taken, and the item given to the target must have monetary value. This means that while Hayai would be capable of taking Special Grade Cursed Tool The Inverted Spear of Heaven, due to it having been given a price at an auction long ago, he would not be able to take Special Grade Cursed Tool Kamutoke, given the item was never sold, nor appraised for any value. The GM must decide if an object has monetary value when Hayai attempts to use Forced Transaction. Hayai, whenever paying for the item, due to the Forced Transaction, must pay 1.5% of the original price, meaning that the chances that he does not, in fact, have the necessary money are high. Any and all payments will be transferred appropriately to the person in question, be it either physical money, or a direct transfer to their bank account, or even a teleportation of the exchanged item to the person’s hands. BONUS ACTIONSMartial Arts. Whenever Hayai makes one unarmed strike on his turn, he can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action. Cursed Blast of Blows (3 Cursed Energy). Immediately after taking the attack action, Hayai can make two unarmed strikes or two weapon attacks. Cursed Patient Defense (3 Cursed Energy). Hayai can take the Dodge action. Cursed Wind Step (3 Cursed Energy). Hayai can take the dash or disengage action as a bonus action on his turn. Remember to reduce these costs to 1 if the character is using Kyoto Cursed Weapon Enhancement. Hayai can spend up to 5 cursed energy to add to a melee weapon he is wielding for 1 minute. Whenever he hits a target with the weapon, it takes extra necrotic damage equal to twice the amount spent. He can only use this enhancement again after 1 minute has passed.
