Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement) A large black hat that ends in a crooked tip. It has an oversized trim with a few nicks and scratches on its edge and sports a black feather tied around a leather band at its base. It casts an unnaturally dark shadow. Obscured Visage. The hat casts an unnaturally dark shadow over your face, potent enough to hide the face even when exposed to direct bright light. Anyone trying to identify you has disadvantage on these checks. This darkness does not affect your vision but it is considered magical darkness for other creatures. Arcane Headspace. You can cast detect magic at will as an action, without the need for concentration or using a spell slot. Additionally, it provides a +3 bonus to Arcana checks.
