Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: Magic items use second-person language ("you" and "your" rather than "the creature" or "the wielder"). When using Cold Blood, it's better not to have Extra Attack, as the maximum number of extra attacks is four (only available to a level 20 fighter) while the maximum proficiency bonus is +6, which every character can have and is reached at level 17. Weapon (pistol), rare (requires attunement)

Forged in the fires of the Nine Hells yet blessed by a most fickle smattering of deities these pistols are never to be underestimated, regardless of if you find yourself the wielder bearing the brunt of its flame-wreathed chamber exhaust or especially so if should you find yourself in the line of this guns destructive hellfire.

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made using this magic weapon, which deals an additional 3d8 fire damage on a hit. The fire damage of this magic weapon can not be resisted, however this fire damage is unable to damage through fire immunity.

  • Structural Damage. Regarding structural damage if this weapon is fired towards a wooden or other similarly flammable structure, the Hades Magnum will instead deal 50 fire damage to the structure itself. In the event of targeting someone who is hidden behind one of these weaker structures, their cover bonus be it "1/2 , 3/4 or full-cover" is completely ignored. If the Hades Magnum is fired towards a Stone, Metallic, or other similarly strong structure the structural damage of the Hades Magnum is treated as a critical hit & only the 1/2 cover bonus of any targets behind it is ignored.
Note for Dungeon Masters: if you want to describe the destruction of this weapons shots I'd suggest dividing the rolled damage by 4 & then take the new number & describe it as an _x-inch diameter puncture-cavity in the structure.

Cold Blood. While attuned to this weapon the user may throw all safety to the wind & with brutality rapid fire the Hades Magnum to a degree few beings ever live to witness (let alone live through). By taking this Cold Blood action the number of rapid gunshots you are able to fan-fire out is equal to (3x the _# of Attacks per Action) the character is normally able to make. If the character does not have Extra-attack use instead use your proficiency bonus as the (_# attacks) maximum.

Paper Tiger. While attuned to this weapon the creatures Maximum Hit Points are heavily reduced, for every 10 Hit Points the creature has they instead only have 4 Hit Points & any leftover Maximum hit points that don't factor into the "10 = 4 rule" are thrown away. If the attuned wielder of the Hades Magnum should receive Temporary Hit Points the bonus is also subjected to mentioned penalty.

Hell's Muzzle Climb. If a creature tries to fire this weapon while unattuned to it, they will end up taking 2d12 fire damage (that cannot be reduced by Resistance nor nullified by Immunity) from the heat of this guns hellfire exhaust and bone dislocating recoil.
