Greater Rod of Rings (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Rod, common (2 ring), uncommon (4 rings), rare (6 rings), very rare (8 rings), legendary (10 rings) (requires attunement)

Tottering the balance between a rod and a staff, a greater rod of rings bears the power to create rings, rather than facilitating the use of rings like a lesser rod of rings. The rod has 6 charges, and regains 1d4-1 charges at dawn. As an action, you may spend 1 charge to imbue one ring within 15 feet with power. You may have a number of rings under this effect as dictated by the rod's rarity, and may remove the effects of one ring as a bonus action. Each ring has 1 charge, regaining this charge at dawn. As an action, a creature may spend any number of charges to cast a Bard or Druid spell, starting as a cantrip and increasing by 1 level for every additional charge spent to a maximum of 5th level.
