Clay Golems[edit]
Golurk and golett by ZappaZee |
Golett is a rotund, stout, bipedal pokémon constructed of a strong mix of clay. Its body is primarily covered by two different shades of blue, which has fooled people into thinking they are made of copper. Its head features two glowing, yellow eyes, which are like lights, and a stub-like cyan-colored crest on top. Two pairs of crisscrossing brown bands extend around its spherical body meeting at a blue square with a yellow swirl in the center. Two large stone-like blocks act as its feet. Two more such blocks adorn its forearms. Each arm ends in a dark blue-colored, crude three-fingered hand. Within the cracks where its limbs connect to its main body seems to emanate light.
Guardian Constructs[edit]
Golett are beings from the ancient past. They were originally clay constructs made by an old civilization to protect humans and pokemon. Their construction is highly arcane, though it is believed to be the amassing of souls or soul energy inside the clay vessel to animate it. Others believe it is some kind of furnace with a set amount of energy that is constantly burning to keep golett moving. Some speculate this energy will eventually run out and leave them lifeless. However, this was largely debunked as a goletts energy only grows with its lifespan, eventually bloating it so much it needs a new vessel. With a larger body, it becomes a golurk, which is a stone guardian that can fly and blast cannon shots out of its body using the excess energy it emits.
Ever Watching[edit]
Golett were originally parts of larger societies which used them and their later evolved forms as protection. They are one of the earlier constructed pokemon, and got along with other pokemon. However, ever since the fall of the ancients, golett are usually just seen roaming the ruins of old cityscapes, seemingly still on patrol. It is believed they have some innate programming that has yet to wear out. They work on their own in a coordinated web to surveill lands. Their behavior has often been called soulless by some. People who encounter them in ruins usually steer clear, lest they be found as trespassers. Golett are thus archaic beings, misplaced in time maybe.
Robotic[edit]
Golett are believed initially to be very literal beings. Like machines, they take commands for face value and will do whatever it takes to carry it out. They are usually very emotionless about it and tend to speak with very flat tones, giving only matter-of-fact statements and factual quips. In recent times, golett have been seen to develop more emotive tones, though never overly so. They have been observed to be able to return small acts of kindness, though complex emotions like love are usually beyond their capacity. Their programming to protect remains strong and they will defend their allies at the cost of their own creations. Golurk inherit this will, though it has been observed they are a bit more quiet and dull.
Golett Names[edit]
Golett usually were named as units. However, they can be adopted in modern day and renamed. Either way, they are usually named by someone else. They lack understanding of gender.

Racial Evolution Feat[edit]
Golurk[edit]
Prerequisites: golett
When a golett amasses enough energy in its body, its vessel is usually upgraded to control itself better. The result is evolution into a golurk, which is a massive golem creature. They bear an incredible amount of energy in them that has a risk of exploding if let loose. To expend this energy, they can fold in parts of their bodies to jettison out energy and propel themselves in flight.
- Your size becomes Large.
- You gain a flying speed of 25 feet.
