Ermut was a dwarven lord who coveted gold. He built this hammer out of it to signify his power. This hammer strikes down the unworthy and brings bountiful wealth to its wielder.

Worthiness:

This weapon uses a worthiness score. Each player's worthiness score is 10, but it can increase or decrease at the DM's discretion, similarly to Inspiration. Performing worthy deeds (according to dm) will increase your score, while unworthy deeds will decrease it. NOTE as a rule of thumb, unworthy deeds deplete worthiness faster than worthy deeds increase it.

Whirlwind: When you attack with this weapon, you may attack any creatures within your reach, and add your worthiness modifier to each die. You may distribute the die however you wish to creatures within range, much like magic missile. (Optional Legendary Feature: You may add damage equal to the number of creatures in reach-1 to each die.)

Perforated Liver When something with a liver is killed with this hammer, the final strike turns their liver into a 25gp liver shaped nugget. Anyone who questions this need not know why, but may be easily led into dark alleyways for the next 30 minutes.

Demonetize Touching a gold object with the butt of the hammer reverts it to another material, depending on its shape. A golden chair would turn to wood, for example, and a golden liver would turn to the flesh of the being it dropped from, still a functioning liver. Handy on the black market, and for transplants!

Choose 1 of the following for an uncommon item, 2 for a rare item, and 3 for a legendary item, or any number of which if you really want to.

Capitalism You may use this feature a number of times equal to your wisdom score modifier. Regain all uses after a long rest spent cuddling with gold. You may expend 50 gp to double the damage die of this weapon. You may not activate this feature until after your roll has been made, but before it is determined whether or not it hits. If you score a critical hit while using this feature, only double the normal damage die of the weapon.

Taxes Once per day, you may make all gold within 30 feet of you conglomerate into a large mound at your feet, raising you into the air. Any enemy that would be hit by the moving gold is grappled by the mound and cannot move or attack until you get off of it.

Stock crash Once per day, you may cause everything within 500 feet of you to completely stop moving for 1 round, and take 1d6 cold damage. All affected creatures have reduced liver function for 2 hours.

Investment Once a day, you may select one creature. The liver of anything that creature kills will turn into a solid gold nugget. This effect wears off after 5 minutes.

"Hey, you know what's better than gold and livers? NOTHING! HAHAHA! HAHAHA! haha... hehehe. As you were."
